Owen started out early lugging his camera around while writing for the campus publication of La Consolacion College. He honed his craft while connected with the regional paper, the Visayas Daily Examiner and eventually became the photojournalist of Mayor Evelio "Bing" Leonardia of Bacolod City from 2004 to 2007. Owen now doubles as a staff photographer of the Negros Daily Bulletin while continuing to shoot for events. Stirring. Evocative. Images in a class of its own.
