DALLAS AND MIAMI [GAME 5 ] By: Owen S. Bayog

The absence of Lebron's fire power in game 4 brought down the Heat 86-83.
Game 5 is the game of his life as it will bring home the games back to Miami.

The Mavs on the other end should come up with better close outs and rotations and run the court in transition offense to ensure a win in Game 5.

A huge task for the Heat's Big 3 as Mavericks plays the last game at their home court.

NDB LENS MAN PLACED 3RD AT PNG PHOTO CONTEST: Julius D. Mariveles

Negros Daily Bulletin photojournalist Owen S. Bayog clinched the third top honors in the recently-concluded Philippine National Games photo contest co-sponsored with the Negros Press Club.

“It was a moving, inspiring sight for me to see people who are physically-challenged doing their best in sports,” he said in describing his entry which shows three paralympic runners in the 200-meter race.

Bayog was the lone photographer during the event taken at the Panaad Park and Stadium where the athletics competition were being held.

The NDB lensman, who has been shooting for the paper for more than two years now, said dedication is key to a great shot.

“I waited for four hours for this; the opportunity finally presented itself,” he added.

Bayog’s entry was adjudged third among more than a 100 images of Manila and local photojournalists that were judged last May 29 at the Grand Regal Hotel in Bacolod City.

NPC President John Elmer Ubaldo and several officials of the Philippine Sports Commission were among the members of the board of judges

He came in second after Tom Guevarra who shoots for a Manila tabloid.

Coming in first was also a BacoleƱo, Ronnie Baldonado.

MAVERICKS SNATCH GAME 2 By: Owen S. Bayog

Dirk Nowitzki led the Dallas Mavericks the best comeback in NBA history closing the game with a 22-5 run.  Miami's Wade, James and Bosh were non existent in the final 6:22 of the 4th quarter.  Heat fans hearts were torn apart as Dallas came up strong before regulation.

Game 2 is the result of the Mavs resolute offense while poor decision making hound the Heat's Big 3 which bring the series tied to 1-1.

The best NBA Finals will surely be on Game 3.
